Day 116:The Guns Of Brixton-The Clash
This is definitely one of my favorite songs by The Clash. I think they were really good at making music that made a statement, but didn’t shove what they wanted to say down your throat, and I love that about them.
I first heard this song in a video of The Arcade Fire doing an interesting cover of it (which you can watch here), and then I bought London Calling and love in original. I think Joe Strummer’s got a great voice, and I love almost everything I’ve ever heard from The Clash. Enjoy!
